LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, or some other technology – it’s your choice. ZENNER IoT Solutions showcased their technology agnostic IoT platform ELEMENT at EUW 2017 in Amsterdam
Hamburg / Amsterdam / Saarbrucken / Minnesota – Freedom of choice is of very high interest for our customers. That said, we made important strategic decisions on the architectural design of our IoT platform ELEMENT in the very beginning of its development. We have done that in order to adapt to that crucial demand. ELEMENT not only connects to a tremendous number of sensors from the LoRaWAN ecosystem, in addition it offers the possibility to connect other
On the European Utility Week 2017 (EUW17) held in Amsterdam from 3rd till 5th of October 2017 we presented three live demos. These demos consisted of three components: i) IoT device, ii) connectivity module and iii) IoT platform. We have shown:
Demo a) was presented at the booth of ZENNER International (1F66) whereas demos b) and c) have been shown at the booth of MultiTech (3B77).
All examples shown above underline and follow our central credo: technological independency. This becomes apparent with the fact that our IoT platform ELEMENT manages IoT devices of different technologies, such as LoRaWAN and NB-IoT, at the same time. In addition, ELEMENT enables E2E solutions of different scopes, such as Smart Metering and Smart Waste solutions and last but not least provenly works with all sorts of connectivity hardware such as LoRaWAN gateways from a variety of manufacturers. This is considered a true added value by our customers.
With NB-IoT the next IoT technology is just around the corner. The big telcos are pushing that topic. You also want to start exploring that exciting new technology? Contact us for an individual offer.
